چکیده
Nanoemulgels are considered as potential and ideal drug delivery systems for the transdermal administration of poorly soluble drugs like lornoxicam. Their intrinsic characteristics, such small globule size well excipient type, make passage easier. The current study was aimed at developing nanoemulgel based formulation lornoxicam coloaded with eucalyptol to enhance skin permeation bioavailability in order promote therapeutic outcome appropriate time. High shear homogenization technique utilized develop optimized encapsulated nanoemulsion followed by its conversion into addition 1% Carbopol 940 gelling agent. Different characterization tests were performed on surface charge, particle distribution, viscosity, spreadability, pH, content determination, entrapment efficiency, vitro release, analysis. had 143.7 ± 2.18 nm. results penetration experiments found satisfactory. Based permeability parameters constant (Kp), enhancement ratio (Er), steady state flux (Jss) revealed greater values satisfactory outcomes. When compared other formulations (LRX EU nanoemulgel), LRX-EU produced improved profile (flux, id="M2"> 189.63 7.68 μg/cm2/h; coefficient, id="M3"> 2.09 0.067 cm/h; ER, 4.274). This work clearly proved that could be developed generate stable systems. Thus, NEG seems promising terms physicochemical properties, enhanced bioavailability, high LRX formulation.

Fabrication and Optimal Design of Biodegradable Polymeric Stents for Aneurysms Treatments
An aneurysm is a balloon-like bulge in the wall of blood vessels, occurring in major arteries of the heart and brain. Biodegradable polymeric stent-assisted coiling is expected to be the ideal treatment of wide-neck complex aneurysms. This paper presents the development of methods to fabricate and optimally design biodegradable polymeric stents for aneurysms treatment. Firstly, a dispensing-bas...
متن کاملPeople with dementia need better pain management.
ny notion that people with dementia feel less pain should be dismissed. Chronic pain is at least as prevalent among people with dementia (up to half) as it is among other elderly people. 1–3 Further, its frequency does not change with the severity of cognitive impairment. 4 However, chronic pain is typically underdetected in this population and, thus, is poorly managed. 5,6 This failure to dete...
متن کاملBiodegradable long-circulating polymeric nanospheres.
Injectable nanoparticulate carriers have important potential applications such as site-specific drug delivery or medical imaging. Conventional carriers, however, cannot generally be used because they are eliminated by the reticulo-endothelial system within seconds or minutes after intravenous injection. To address these limitations, monodisperse biodegradable nanospheres were developed from amp...
متن کاملBiodegradable polymeric prodrugs of naltrexone
The development of a biodegradable polymeric drug delivery system for the narcotic antagonist naltrexone may improve patient compliance in the treatment of opiate addiction. Random copolymers consisting of the a-amino acids N 5( 3-hydroxypropyl)-L-glutamine and L-leucine were synthesized with equimolar initial monomer feeds. The molecular weight of this chemical carrier was determined by viscom...
متن کاملComparison of lornoxicam and low-dose tramadol for management of post-thyroidectomy pain.
OBJECTIVES The present study sought to compare the analgesic efficacy and adverse effects of intravenous (IV) lornoxicam and tramadol to investigate if lornoxicam is a reasonable alternative to a weak opioid for post-thyroidectomy pain. METHODS Fifty patients of American Society of Anesthesiologists class I or II, 18 to 65 years of age, and who underwent thyroidectomy were assigned to 2 group...
